Lender rails

Embed Catchfall at the moment a loan is signed.

Credit unions, community banks, and auto lenders can offer Catchfall payment-protection coverage as an add-on at origination — never auto-bundled, never pre-attached, and always with a published monthly cap the borrower sees before they sign. Below is how the integration is shaped, and the inbox that picks up when you’re ready to wire it up.

Existing lenders, captive auto finance, and direct-to-consumer storefronts all run on the same contract — only the rails change.

Same contract, two rails

Whether the borrower comes in through your LOS or our direct storefront, the policy they leave with is the same — same cap, same term, same exclusions page.

What we don’t doNo auto-bundling at signing. No teaser rates that drift at claim. No closer desk coaching the borrower into cover.
How the integration works

Three steps the borrower doesn’t have to redo.

The widget answers the price question, your LOS hands off the quote, and the policy writes back to the CRM you already use. We don’t ask you to retrain the front line.

  1. 01
    Embed

Drop the quote widget into your origination flow.

A script tag, an iframe, or a mounted React component — borrowers see a published monthly cap per debt and a premium they can multiply in their head, before they sign the loan. No quote maze, no teaser rates that dissolve at claim.

  2. 02
    Handoff

Send the borrower to /enroll with a quote_id.

When the borrower accepts, your LOS hands off to /enroll?quote=<id> and we resume the same quote on a confirmation page that names the cap and term again. Same numbers, two screens, no re-decimal surprise.

  3. 03
    Write back

Receive the policy write in your CRM via webhook.

A signed completion pushes the policy_id, borrower name, cover line, cap, and term to your CRM webhook — same shape as the loss-mitigation event you already process, so intake stays a one-screen add.

What the borrower sees

Written from the borrower’s side.

The widget, the enrollment page, and the confirmation page all carry the same copy style — plain-language exclusions, the cap on the page before sign, no “see attached endorsement” carve-outs.

  • Borrower-side copyEvery sentence on the widget and the confirmation page is written from the borrower’s side — published caps, named terms, plain-language carve-outs.
  • No counter pressureWe don’t put the quote on the closer’s desk. The borrower finishes enrollment on their own time, and comes back to your CRM with a policy_id attached.
  • One inbox, real repliesLender integrations are a conversation, not a ticketing workflow. The partnerships inbox is read by a person who can sign the contracts you’ll need next.
What lands in your LOS

The shape of the policy write.

The webhook posts fields your CRM already accepts. No custom schema, no ETL jobs.

Borrower-facing payload
  • policy_id — Catchfall-issued identifier
  • cover_type — mortgage / auto / personal / card
  • monthly_cap_cents — published monthly cap, per debt
  • term_months — fixed, borrower-selected at sign-up
Underwriting metadata
  • premium_cents — per $1,000 of balance, basis on the declaration page
  • review_window_days — refundable review period, named in the policy
  • exclusions_hash — version of the plain-language exclusions the borrower saw
  • partner_id — your lender of record, for the loss-payee clause
Talk to the partnerships team

The inbox is real. The reply is the founder.

One form, five fields. The same inbox that picks up press questions and household support is the one that reads lender integration briefs — and replies the same day, signed by a person on the team.
